Bespoke wall to wall bench. Part of three custom furniture pieces for a private home.
The aim was to make a homogenous front with hidden drawers and space for radiators. The bench serves as a backdrop of the living room with a great view to the lakes of Copenhagen.
The aim was to make a homogenous front with hidden drawers and space for radiators. The bench serves as a backdrop of the living room with a great view to the lakes of Copenhagen.
Lamellas act as handles. Here you can see the construction of the drawer. Dark wood behind the lamellas give the illusion of an empty space as underneath part of the bench, where radiators are placed
