OUTDOOR MEETING ROOM
︎

Materials and technique:
Larch, concrete, stone dust, corten steel.
Three outdoor meeting rooms for the Copenhagen Council.

The challenge was to establish flexible, yet private outdoor meeting rooms for citizens/council in a very open and busy traffic spot.

Three different concrete slabs functions as a backbone for sitting and plants. The three spaces are defined by a small plaza in a darker surface and a slightly elevated brick surface to give the feeling of being on an island.
A path guides people to each space. Three espalier and a fence serves as privacy and sound barriers.

Everything was build by the users of the council center.
